book-memo プライバシーポリシー

book-memo は、あなたの本の記録・メモ・写真を、端末の中だけに保存します。
開発者はその内容を見ることができません。サーバーもアカウントもありません。
ただし、次の2つだけは外部と通信します。どちらも、あなたが書いたメモの内容は一切含みません。
- カバー画像の自動取得 — あなたが入力した本のタイトルを、書誌データベースへ送ります
- 広告の表示 — 広告配信事業者が、広告を出すために必要な情報を取得します
1. 端末内に保存されるデータ
あなたがアプリに入力した以下のデータは、端末内のアプリ専用領域にのみ保存されます。

これらが開発者へ送られることはありません。アプリを削除すると、これらのデータもすべて削除されます。
2. カバー画像の自動取得について
「カバー画像を探す」を使ったときにのみ、あなたが入力した本のタイトル（と、入力していれば出版社名）を外部の書誌データベースへ送信し、候補の書誌情報とカバー画像を受け取ります。利用しているサービス名は、アプリの設定画面に表示しています。
- 送られるのは検索語だけです。あなたの氏名・メールアドレス・端末の識別子・メモの内容は送りません
- 受け取ったカバー画像は端末内に保存され、以後は通信しません
- この機能を使わなくてもアプリは使えます。カバーは写真から手動で設定できます
- 外部サービスの都合で、この機能が一時的に使えなくなることがあります。混み合っているとき、利用上限に達したときなどです
- 将来にわたって使えなくなる可能性もあります。提供元がサービスを終了したり、仕様や利用条件を変更したりする場合があるためです。開発者が提供元を変更することもあります
- どの場合でも、あなたが記録した本とメモは端末内にそのまま残ります。カバーは写真から手動で設定でき、記録そのものが失われることはありません
送信先のサービスにおける取り扱いは、そのサービスのプライバシーポリシーに従います。
3. 通信するのはこの2つだけです
上記のカバー取得と、次項の広告以外に、アプリが外部と通信することはありません。本の記録もメモも、書いた時点で端末の外へ出ることはありません。
4. 広告について
本アプリは無料で提供するために、アプリ内に広告を表示します。広告の配信のために、広告配信事業者が次の情報を取得することがあります。

- これらは広告配信事業者が取得するもので、開発者がその内容を受け取ることはありません（開発者が見られるのは、合計の表示回数や収益などの集計値だけです）
- あなたが書いたメモや本のタイトルが広告に使われることはありません
- iOS の「設定 > プライバシーとセキュリティ > トラッキング」から、アプリによるトラッキングを拒否できます。拒否した場合も広告は表示されますが、あなたの興味に合わせたものではなくなります
5. 購入について
アプリ内で購入をおこなう場合、その処理はすべて Apple が行います。開発者がクレジットカード番号などの決済情報を受け取ることはありません。
6. 端末の機能へのアクセス許可
いずれもあなたが操作したときにのみ使われ、目的以外には使用しません。
- 写真ライブラリ（読み取り） — カバー画像を選ぶとき。選ばれた1枚だけをアプリ専用領域にコピーします。ライブラリ全体を読み取ったり、送信したりすることはありません
- カメラ — カバーを撮影するとき
いずれも拒否できます。拒否した場合、その方法でカバーを設定できなくなるだけで、他の機能は通常どおり動作します。
7. バックアップと共有
- バックアップの書き出し — あなたが設定画面で操作したときにのみ、記録内容を Markdown ファイルとして書き出し、iOS の共有シートを開きます。保存先を選ぶのはあなた自身です。開発者のサーバーへ送信されることはありません
- バックアップの復元 — あなたが選んだファイルのみを読み込みます
- 1冊分のメモの共有 — あなたが共有を指示したときにのみ、テキストを生成します
書き出したあとのファイルの取り扱いは、あなたが選んだ保存先・共有先のサービスに委ねられます。
8. 第三者への提供
開発者が、あなたの記録・メモ・写真を第三者へ提供・販売・共有することはありません。そもそも開発者がそれらを受け取っていません。
9. お子様のプライバシー
本アプリはお子様を対象としたものではなく、お子様から情報を収集することもありません。
10. 本ポリシーの変更
内容を変更する場合は、本ページを更新し、上部の最終更新日を改めます。データの取り扱いに実質的な変更が生じる場合は、アプリの更新情報でもお知らせします。

book-memo stores your books, notes, and photos only on your device.
The developer cannot see them. There is no server and no account.
Two things do communicate externally. Neither includes anything you wrote in your notes.
- Cover image lookup — the book title you type is sent to a bibliographic database
- Advertising — the ad provider collects what it needs to serve ads

None of this is sent to the developer. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
2. Cover Image Lookup
Only when you use "Find a cover image", the book title you entered (and the publisher, if you entered one) is sent to an external bibliographic database, which returns candidate book details and cover images. The service in use is named in the app's settings screen.
- Only the search terms are sent. We do not send your name, email address, device identifiers, or the contents of your notes
- Retrieved cover images are stored on your device; no further communication occurs
- The app works without this feature. You can always set a cover from a photo
- The external service may be temporarily unavailable — when it is busy, or when a usage limit is reached
- It may also become permanently unavailable. The provider may discontinue the service or change its terms, and the developer may switch to a different provider
- In every case your books and notes remain on your device. Covers can still be set from a photo, and nothing you have recorded is lost
Handling of the data at the receiving service is governed by that service's privacy policy.
3. These Are the Only Two Network Uses
Apart from the cover lookup above and advertising below, the app does not communicate externally. Your books and notes never leave the device.
4. Advertising
To offer the app for free, book-memo displays ads. The ad provider may collect:

- This is collected by the ad provider; the developer does not receive its contents (the developer sees only aggregate figures such as total impressions and revenue)
- Your notes and book titles are never used for advertising
- You can refuse tracking in iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Ads still appear, but they will not be tailored to your interests
5. Purchases
If you make a purchase in the app, all payment processing is handled by Apple. The developer never receives payment details such as card numbers.
6. Device Permissions
- Photo library (read) — when you choose a cover image. Only the single photo you pick is copied into the app's private storage. We never scan or transmit your library
- Camera — when you photograph a cover
You may deny either. Doing so only disables that way of setting a cover.
7. Backup and Sharing
- Export backup — only when you tap it in Settings, the app writes your records to a Markdown file and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose the destination. Nothing is sent to the developer
- Import backup — reads only the file you select
- Sharing one book's notes — text is generated only when you ask to share
8. Third-Party Disclosure
The developer does not provide, sell, or share your records, notes, or photos with third parties. The developer never receives them in the first place.
9. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children and does not collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
